On June 18th, we held an in-house Water Baptism for newly born again members and those rededicating their lives to Christ. It was a joyous celebration of the complete work of Jesus Christ in the lives of these precious Saints.
The baptism event opened up with a word of prayer, followed by a brief teaching session on the importance of water baptism and why the Lord Jesus instructed we should baptize all new believers. Ultimately, it is a declaration of our final separation from the world!
(Romans 6:4 NKJV) Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
